I was so excited to see a package from Ireland when I opened my mailbox. When I saw who it was from, I just knew what was inside. You see, I had my eye on one of the items in the sneak peeks and that was what I got! I couldn't open the package fast enough and squealed in delight!
And what was inside? Oh, just this fabulous mini quilt all ready to hang in my new sewing room!
Just look at how cute the squirrel and cardinal are! I had included some Charley Harper in my mosaic and also said that I love nature inspired things. My partner, Eva, took on the challenge of making this for me and I am so happy she did!
Here's the back, with the label (and dog paws, of course).
She did well on the extras too! The pouch is a generous size and will fit my travel sketching supplies nicely. The little notebook is unlined (my preference!) and so adorable. And the fabrics? Well, in the Mouthy Stitches swap I had commented on the Wizard of Oz fabric she used in the pouch me made. And so she sent me some along with some Echino with a deer on it! Just perfect for me! The postcard with her handwritten note on it is awesome too, and will be going up on one of my sewing room walls too. I even love the ribbon she used to package everything together and will be saving it to use in a future project.
I am just so pleased and could gush forever about it!
My regular Studio Saturday post will follow this one. It's going to be a tad picture heavy so I wanted to do this one seperately. I will also be posting sneak peeks of the items I'm making for this swap early next week before I mail them off. The full reveal won't be until I know she has received them as they are going to be personalized.
Hope your Saturday is a great one too!

That is such an awesome swap package! Love the mini quilt and so much other fun stuff in there. I've been awful at looking in the group pool so I've totally missed this. I love it!

OMG that's amazing. At first glance the mini quilt looked like printed fabric - genius.
Fabulous mini! I love Charley Harper's cardinals!
Yes she is very talented isn't she, you will have to come and visit her shop. Lucky you though. Beautiful quilt isn't it!
