Future Projects

I've been doing a bit of stash building, so now it's time to do some stash busting (and knock out some projects that have been lingering in my mind).

1. A felted bag for my knitting. It will be lined with this adorable print that I have in my stash. I'm going to be making up the pattern for the bag.

2. A Halloween table runner. I did buy three of these fabrics yesterday to go with the Ghastlies print. Although when I was planning this, I didn't take a good look at my fabric and forgot that I only got a half yard, so I may have to modify my original design plan. Or buy more of it to use.

3. Before I return One Yard Wonders to the library, I have a couple projects I want to do. I will eventually buy this book but I don't want to wait for these. First one is the Mod Caper. I had to search at a couple stores before I found a medium weight wool that I liked.

4. Finally, I want to make the clothespin apron from the book. I won't really need this until next spring but that's not going to stop me from making it. Besides, I love this fabric and think it would be great here.

I'm sharing these with you so that I have some accountability. I can't just hide them in my future projects basket if I put them up here. Now to get to work!

I have a copy of One Metre Wonders. It's a great book. You have a lot of projects ready to start. I agree, accountability can keep you on track. Have fun with all these projects.

Ooo a halloween runner! Can't wait to see what you do! Checking out sewing books at the library is a great idea! I don't know why I never thought of it... lol

I love that clothespin apron. I need to make one for when I'm planting my garden and always trying to shove too many seed packets into my pockets. I have the book and have made a couple of things from it, but there are a few more that I still want to make. Your knitting bag looks like it is going to be very fun!
