Joining in on Some Fun

There are two stitch a longs going on that I'm jumping in on. Yes, yes, I know, I am still working on other projects, but hey, I just can't resist these two.

Frame Pouch Along

First is the Pouch a Long going on at Making Rebecca Lynne. I am already behind because I have yet to even draw (or think about) my template(s). I bought a bunch of frames and they finally arrived earlier this week so I first had to go about picking out fabrics. I am being good and shopping from my stash on this one. I have three definately picked out and some other ideas.

This looks like a pile of nothing but will be a pretty patchwork pouch. I got excited when I found these in my scrap box. I forgot I had put them in there.

I don't have a lining for this one and haven't decided which frame. Maybe both? I do have a yard of this fabric.

Possible Pouch?

A Heather Ross fat quarter arrived today and I will probably use it to make a pouch.

Purse Frame

This frame is a little bit bigger than the rest. I couldn't resist the shoes and don't know what other material I will use with it.

The other one is the Market Tote Stitch a Long at Clover and Violet. I missed out on the fun with their first QAL, but will probably do that one one day on my own. They are using Ruby fabrics but I didn't want to wait, so I went to JoAnn's to see if anything caught my eye. It did and pretty hard. The tote features a gorgeous embroidered pocket which is what triggered me needing to make this. I can't resist embroidery it seems.

That's all I have time for today. I am going to try to catch up with my e-mails before I have to jet to work.

Whoa!!! I love all the fabrics you chose! Whew hew... I am going to post a "troubleshooting" post tonight...I think. So that might help your design choices anyway. No need to rush!

I really like that square frame in the photo where you had two frames. I think that fabric would look great in square frame!
